Part-Time Sales & Customer Service Assistant

We are looking for a friendly, confident and reliable person to join our team on a flexible, part-time basis.
This role would be ideal for a student, someone looking to gain work experience, or anyone wanting to build their confidence and develop their communication and social skills in a customer-facing environment.
The Role
You will be helping customers with storage enquiries, showing them around the facility and supporting them throughout the booking process.
Your duties will include:
- Speaking with customers in person, over the phone and by email
- Responding to new enquiries and following up with potential customers
- Showing customers around the storage facility
- Explaining our unit sizes, prices and current offers
- Completing basic administration and updating customer records
- Taking payments and processing bookings
- Helping to keep the facility clean, organised and presentable
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
What We Are Looking For
You do not need previous self-storage experience, as full training will be provided. However, you must:
- Be comfortable speaking and communicating with different people
- Have a friendly, approachable and professional manner
- Be reliable, organised and willing to learn
- Have a basic level of computer and IT knowledge
- Be able to work independently when required
- Be flexible with working hours
- Be available for weekend shifts and some weekday mornings or evenings
Working Hours
This is a flexible part-time position covering a mixture of:
- Weekends
- Occasional mornings
- Occasional evenings
- Additional hours when covering holidays or busy periods
Our Working Hours Cover Between:
Monday - Friday 0800-1800
Saturday 0830-1600
Sunday 1000-1400
The role can work well alongside university, college or other commitments.
