At Network Rail , our finance team plays a critical role in delivering a safe, reliable and efficient railway, managing around £1 billion in annual expenditure . Our Glasgow-based finance team -a close-knit group of around 50 professionals-is at the heart of this mission.
As a Senior Finance Business Partner - Business Improvement , you'll work at the heart of the organisation-identifying opportunities, building robust business cases and ensuring benefits are delivered.
This is more than a finance role-it's an opportunity to lead improvement, shape strategy, and deliver real impact .
¿ What You'll Do:
- Lead end-to-end business case development from concept to delivery
- Identify and deliver efficiencies and cost improvement opportunities
- Build robust, insight-led business cases aligned to strategy, value and risk
- Track and ensure benefits are realized and sustained
- Challenge and support stakeholders to drive smarter decisions
- Help embed a centre of excellence with strong governance and consistency
- Shape future efficiency strategy, including development of our five-year business plan
