About Belvoir Estate
Belvoir Estate is a large and diverse rural estate in Leicestershire, managing approximately 500 tenancies across residential, commercial, agricultural, leisure, hospitality, renewables, minerals, and events sectors. The Land & Property department plays a key role in managing and developing the estate's extensive portfolio and is currently expanding to support a growing number of strategic projects.
The Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised Rural Estate Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to the Property Manager and Assistant Land & Property Manager. This newly created role is part of a wider departmental restructure designed to support the estate's continued growth and increasing project activity.

Key Responsibilities
Administration & Property Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Land & Property team.
- Manage incoming post, filing, document management, and correspondence.
- Coordinate diaries, meetings, property viewings, and site visits.
- Process paddock licences, small land agreements, and tenancy documentation.
- Maintain accurate records within the estate's property management system.
- Support property lettings, tenant sign-ups, and end-of-tenancy administration.
Compliance & Reporting
- Produce compliance and performance reports across the estate portfolio.
- Assist with data management and system administration.
- Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the estate's property management software.
Debt Management
- Manage first-stage debt recovery processes.
- Issue arrears correspondence and maintain arrears records.
- Liaise with tenants to resolve outstanding accounts and escalate issues where necessary.
Operational Support
- Provide cover across the wider team during periods of absence or peak workload.
- Respond to tenant enquiries and assist with maintenance requests.
- Coordinate contractors and monitor progress of reactive maintenance works.
- Participate in an emergency out-of-hours phone rota, including some weekend cover.

Essential
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional and confident telephone manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Comfortable working with databases and digital systems.
- Able to prioritise a varied workload and work independently when required.
- Professional, discreet, and reliable when handling confidential information.
Desirable
- Experience within property management, estate management, land agency, or a related environment.
- Familiarity with property management software.
- Interest in rural estates, agriculture, or the countryside.
