The room leader is responsible for:
Creating a safe and fun environment for the children.
Maintaining high-quality childcare and education. Working as part of a caring and passionate team.
Ensuring she/he is a role model for staff including high levels of professionalism and standards of appearance.
Leading the team within the room ensuring they are fulfilling their roles and responsibilities.
Effective communicator.
Time out to carry out termly supervisions, observations and cohort tracking.
Ensuring the Early Years Foundation Stage is embedded and adhered to.
Leading the Key Person’s system within the room.
