About the Role
Aurora Vision Digital Solutions Ltd provides digital transformation, business intelligence, process improvement, customer-technology and operational-support solutions to organisations across different industries.
We are looking for an analytical, organised and commercially aware Business Analyst to support the evaluation and improvement of our business processes, systems and digital services.
The successful candidate will gather and document requirements, analyse operational data, map business processes and work with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver practical improvements. You will help translate business needs into clear functional requirements and ensure that proposed solutions are realistic, measurable and aligned with organisational objectives.
This mid-level position is suitable for candidates with experience in business analysis, process improvement, systems implementation, project coordination, data analysis or digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Requirements Analysis: Gather, assess and document business, operational and system requirements from relevant stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct meetings, interviews and workshops to understand business challenges, priorities and expected outcomes.
- Process Mapping: Review existing workflows and create clear process maps showing current and proposed ways of working.
- Requirements Documentation: Prepare business requirement documents, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria and supporting materials.
- Data Analysis: Review operational data, performance reports and customer information to identify patterns, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Solution Evaluation: Assess proposed systems, tools and process changes against business requirements and operational needs.
- Project Support: Work with project managers, developers, suppliers and operational teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- System Implementation: Support system configuration, testing, deployment and the transition of approved solutions into daily operations.
- User Acceptance Testing: Develop test scenarios, coordinate testing activities and record issues, results and required improvements.
- Change Management: Help teams understand new processes, systems and responsibilities through clear communications and documentation.
- Performance Reporting: Prepare reports, dashboards and updates showing project progress, business performance and expected benefits.
- Risk Identification: Identify operational, technical and delivery risks and escalate significant concerns to appropriate stakeholders.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate versions of requirements, process documents, meeting notes, test results and project records.
- Training Support: Assist with the preparation of user guides, training materials and implementation-support documents.
- Process Improvement: Recommend practical improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, service quality and customer satisfaction.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 2 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, systems implementation or a related position.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience gathering, evaluating and documenting business requirements.
- Ability to create process maps, workflow diagrams and functional documentation.
- Good understanding of project and software-development lifecycles.
- Experience working with operational, technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and collaborative digital systems.
- Ability to analyse data and explain findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Professional communication, meeting-facilitation and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage several priorities and meet agreed deadlines.
- Dependable, collaborative and improvement-focused approach to work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualification in Business Analysis, Business Management, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related subject.
- Business analysis certification such as BCS, IIBA, AgileBA or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in digital transformation, technology services or business consultancy.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid project-delivery methods.
- Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications.
- Knowledge of business-process modelling techniques such as BPMN.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Power BI or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with customer-relationship, enterprise-resource-planning or workflow-management systems.
- Experience supporting user acceptance testing and system implementation activities.
- Knowledge of data protection, information security and responsible data handling.
Pay: £41,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
