We are currently hiring 2 experienced Vehicle Technicians / Car Mechanics to join our busy, family-run garage in Edinburgh (Sighthill Industrial Estate). This role is ideal for a skilled automotive technician, mechanic, or MOT tester looking for a stable, long-term position with consistent work across two fully operational workshops. Ideal candidate will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance of cars and light vehicles diagnostics and fault finding, Mechanical repairs (brakes, clutches, suspension, engines) MOT preparation and repair work. Working efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain high standards.
Requirements are NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent), previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, strong diagnostic skills, Full UK driving licence, MOT Tester licence (preferred but not essential).
Salary from £35,000+ (depending on experience), Overtime available, friendly, family-run working environment, job security with steady workflow, opportunities for training and progression.
