Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and quality standards are met
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in restrooms and communal areas
- Dispose of waste responsibly, ensuring recycling protocols are followed where applicable
- Maintain the cleanliness of equipment and storage areas to promote safety and efficiency
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to create a secure environment for everyone
Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is advantageous but not mandatory
