My client is seeking for a compassionate, resilient and dedicated Children’s Residential Support Worker to join our 5-bedded children’s home in Wood Walton.
The home provides a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment for children and young people who have experienced trauma. We believe in building trusting relationships, providing stability and helping young people develop confidence, resilience and hope for the future.
About the role
You will support young people in their day-to-day lives, helping them feel safe, valued and understood. You will:
- Build positive, trusting relationships with young people.
- Provide consistent, trauma-informed and nurturing support.
- Support daily routines, activities and independence.
- Help young people develop confidence, resilience and life skills.
- Respond calmly and positively to challenging situations.
- Work closely with colleagues, families and professionals.
- Maintain a safe and supportive home environment.
Rota
3-week rolling rota:
Week 1: Monday, Thursday & Saturday
Week 2: Tuesday, Friday & Sunday
Week 3: Wednesday
Shift: 07:00 plus sleep in
Sleep-in payment: £62 per sleep-in.
