Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued from arrival through departure
- Assist dental professionals during procedures by preparing instruments, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining a clean clinical environment
- Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and patient records with precision using our IT systems
- Provide comprehensive patient care by explaining treatment plans, answering questions, and offering post-treatment instructions
- Handle reception duties including answering phone calls, managing inquiries, and processing payments efficiently
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, treatment notes, and clinical records in compliance with privacy standards
- Support infection control protocols and ensure all clinical areas meet health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Nurse or Receptionist within a healthcare or dental setting is preferred but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks seamlessly in a fast-paced environment
- Basic IT literacy to navigate scheduling software, electronic health records, and communication tools
- Knowledge of patient care principles and nursing practices relevant to dental care
