Human Resources Advisor
Salary: £36,883 - £37,499 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full Time (37 hours per week)
Location: Cambridge with occasional travel as required to Huntingdon
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Advisor to join our HR team. Working closely with managers across the College, you will provide expert advice and support on a wide range of HR matters, helping to deliver an excellent people service and support the College's Workforce Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Advise and coach managers on employee relations matters, including absence, disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance issues.

Oversee recruitment and onboarding for your assigned areas

Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment law.

Contribute to HR projects, staff development activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain accurate HR records and support compliance with safeguarding and safer recruitment requirements.
About You
You will have:
- CIPD qualification (or equivalent HR qualification/experience).

Significant experience in a HR advisory or generalist role.

Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.

Experience handling complex employee relations casework.

Excellent communication, influencing and organisational skills.

A customer-focused, proactive and solution-oriented approach.
