Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about food and eager to develop their culinary skills. Prior kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred, but a strong enthusiasm for food preparation and safety standards is essential. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in meal preparation during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
- Monitor food stock levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Support the team with additional tasks as required, including plating and garnishing dishes
- Ensure that all food is stored correctly and waste is minimised
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary practices
- Previous serving experience is advantageous but not essential; a passion for food is key

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
