Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate, skilled and highly experienced Advanced Aesthetic Skin & Laser Practitioner to join our dynamic team to establish and develop our new Comprehensive Skin Clinic.
This is an exciting opportunity to become one of the founding members of our skin division, helping to shape and expand a premium service offering advanced skin health, rejuvenation and laser treatments using the latest technologies.
In this role, you will deliver exceptional aesthetic treatments, including advanced skin therapies and laser procedures, to help clients achieve their beauty and skincare goals. Your expertise will enhance our reputation for excellence in aesthetic services, providing personalized care in a lively, welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering outstanding customer experiences while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced skin treatments such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and other non-invasive procedures with precision and care
- Conduct laser therapies for hair removal, skin rejuvenation, pigmentation correction, and scar reduction using state-of-the-art equipment
- Assess clients’ skin conditions through detailed consultations to recommend tailored treatment plans
- Apply makeup applications for special occasions or promotional events as needed to showcase aesthetic capabilities
- Educate clients on skincare routines, post-treatment care, and product recommendations to optimize results
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety protocols, including sterilization and documentation of procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions, managing expectations, and ensuring a positive experience from consultation to follow-up
Skills
- Proven experience in advanced aesthetic skin treatments and laser procedures
- Strong makeup application skills for various looks and occasions
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain treatment options and post-care instructions
- Exceptional customer service abilities with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Fluency in English to effectively interact with diverse clients and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of current trends in aesthetics and skincare innovations
Essential Requirements/Qualifications
Applicants should have:
- NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy (minimum)
- Level 4 Laser & IPL qualification (or equivalent)
- Core of Knowledge Certificate
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an advanced skin or aesthetic clinic
- Experience with multiple medical-grade laser platforms
- Hydrafacial certification
- Cryotherapy training
- Advanced skin rejuvenation qualifications
- Experience within a CQC-regulated healthcare environment
- Excellent consultation and communication skills
- Good knowledge of Fitzpatrick skin types
- Strong understanding of contraindications and complications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
