We are currently seeking a Garden Centre Plant Sales Advisor to join our team at our busy retail site. This role is ideal for someone with a genuine passion for horticulture and an enthusiasm for helping customers choose the right plants for their gardens. Previous experience in plant care and retail sales is highly beneficial, and experience assisting with the setup of a Christmas shop or seasonal displays is particularly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating the till and handling customer transactions
- Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service and plant advice
- Creating and maintaining attractive plant displays
- Watering, cleaning, and general care of plants
- Assisting with general nursery and garden centre duties
- Supporting seasonal merchandising, including Christmas shop setup
What We’re Looking For
- A keen interest in plants, gardening, and horticulture
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work confidently in a retail environment
- Reliability and willingness to work every Saturday
- A positive, hands-on attitude
- Desirable: experience helping create or maintain Christmas shop displays or other seasonal retail setups
Salary is dependent on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
