Duties
- Assist in the preparation of pastry dough and filling ingredients following established recipes and safety protocols
- Operate basic food production machinery with mechanical knowledge to ensure smooth workflow
- Assemble pasties by filling, sealing, and shaping pastry cases efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the production area in compliance with food safety regulations such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point)
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure consistency, appearance, and freshness
- Support inventory management by organizing ingredients and supplies for easy access during production shifts
- Follow all food safety procedures diligently, including proper handling, storage, and documentation of ingredients and finished products
Requirements
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety standards is essential to maintain compliance and ensure product integrity
- Previous experience in food production or bakery environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Basic math skills are necessary for measuring ingredients accurately
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and safety protocols
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
