Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated Carers who possess their own vehicle to provide compassionate care and support to individuals in their homes. This role is ideal for motivated individuals with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives. Duties
- Safely transporting clients to appointments, social activities, and other outings using your own vehicle
- Assisting clients with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Developing and implementing personalised care plans in collaboration with clients and their families
- Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ wellbeing
- Maintaining accurate records of visits and client progress using IT systems
- Communicating effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care
- Adhering to health and safety regulations, including infection control procedures
Requirements
- Valid driving licence with access to your own car in good working order
- Experience or familiarity with care home or home care environments is desirable
- Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English
- Proficient IT skills for documentation and communication purposes
- Excellent communication skills, compassionate nature, and organisational abilities
- Knowledge of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently across various locations
- Previous experience in home care or similar roles is advantageous but not essential
