As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a proactive and organised Sales & Marketing Executive to support both our client programmes and our own business development activities.
The Role
This is a varied role combining sales, marketing, research and programme administration. You will play an important part in supporting the delivery of client programmes while helping generate new business opportunities for Core Growth and our clients through targeted sales prospecting and market research.
The ideal candidate will be organised, commercially minded, confident communicating with businesses by phone and email, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Research and identify prospective client organisations across target sectors.
- Build and maintain prospect databases.
- Carry out outbound prospecting through telephone calls and email campaigns.
- Qualify leads and arrange meetings for clients/Core Growth’s consultancy team.
- Follow up enquiries and nurture prospects through the sales pipeline.
- Support the preparation of sales proposals and presentations.
- Assist with marketing strategies designed to generate new business opportunities.
Market Research
- Conduct desk-based research into industry sectors, competitors and market trends.
- Identify new market opportunities for Core Growth and client projects.
- Analyse research findings and present clear summaries and recommendations.
- Maintain databases of market intelligence and sector insights.
Programme Administration
- Coordinate client programme schedules, workshops and meetings.
- Prepare programme documentation, agendas and supporting materials.
- Maintain accurate programme records and client files.
- Liaise with clients and delivery teams to ensure smooth programme delivery.
- Provide administrative support to consultants across multiple client projects.
Reporting
- Produce regular sales activity reports and pipeline updates.
- Monitor and report on marketing campaign performance.
- Prepare programme progress reports and client documentation.
- Assist with creating presentations and reports for internal and client meetings.
- Ensure CRM and reporting systems remain accurate and up to date.
General Support
- Respond professionally to incoming enquiries by phone and email.
- Maintain client databases and contact records.
- Support the wider team with administrative and operational tasks as required.
- Contribute ideas to improve internal processes and client experience.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Experience in a sales support, business development, marketing or administrative role.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence speaking with business professionals over the telephone.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
- A proactive, positive and professional approach.
Desirable
- Experience conducting market research.
- Understanding of sales pipelines and lead generation.
- Experience within professional services, consultancy or B2B environments.
- A qualification in Business, Marketing or a related discipline.
