We are looking for a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team, delivering windows and doors to customers on a multi-drop route.
This is a hands-on role involving the loading, securing and delivery of windows and doors. You’ll be representing the company when dealing with our customers, so a friendly, helpful and professional approach is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely deliver windows and doors to customers on a multi-drop route
- Carry out daily van checks and report any defects or issues
- Load, secure and unload products safely, ensuring they remain damage-free
- Check deliveries against the relevant paperwork
- Follow planned routes and delivery schedules
- Use the correct handling equipment and PPE at all times
- Keep Dispatch informed of delays, delivery issues or problems on the road
- Deal with customers in a polite, helpful and professional manner
- Follow all road traffic laws and company driving procedures
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1 year's experience driving a van in a delivery or similar role
- Full driving licence with no more than 3 points
- No previous driving bans
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable with the manual handling involved in loading and unloading windows and doors
- Able to build positive relationships with customers
Hours
- 40 hours per week
- Start and finish times will vary depending on the delivery schedule
- No overnight driving
