We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Manager to lead and manage all procurement activities across the Valleys to Coast Group. With over 6,200 homes in management, multiple subsidiaries, and an ambitious development programme, this strategic role will take a holistic and proactive view to align procurement activity across the Group, driving real value, and contributing to customer satisfaction and community benefit.
Reporting to the Director of Finance and line managing a small team of professionals, you will oversee the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for a diverse portfolio of contracts. You will develop and implement a comprehensive procurement framework, ensuring compliance with the Procurement Act and Welsh Government regulations, while championing ethical, sustainable sourcing and managing supplier relationships.
To be successful, you must be a fully qualified procurement specialist (CIPS or equivalent) with substantial senior-level procurement experience, preferably within a public sector, housing, or not-for-profit environment in Wales or the wider UK. You should possess strong commercial acumen, exceptional negotiation and contract management skills, and a collaborative, delivery-focused leadership style.
