We are offering the chance to start or continue your career within an apprenticeship role at Abinger Joinery.
We are looking for someone to join our small team and gaining valuable hands on experience whilst gaining your NVQ at college
The work will be a mix of assisting within our workshop and on site in customers homes fitting our products
Duties.
- Learn to operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Support team members in carpentry tasks such as cutting, shaping, and installing materials.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks to ensure a secure working environment.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm for learning about joinery
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of hand tools and interest in developing skills with power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to follow instructions carefully.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- No prior experience required; training will be provided
Pay: Up to £13.00 per hour
