We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Locum Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a budding Dental Agency, we are connected with various Dental clinics in Manchester and so the job locations will be available all over the manchester and surrounding region. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dental team in various procedures. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients.
Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
- Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring they are clean, organised, and equipped with the required tools.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment schedules and follow-up with patients as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice.
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing and inventory management when required.
Skills
- Proficient in IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems.
- Strong organisational skills to maintain an efficient workflow within the practice.
- Excellent command of English for effective communication with patients and team members.
- Demonstrated ability in patient care, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout their visit.
- Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically, addressing patient concerns effectively.
- Previous experience as a nurse or in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential.
