We're looking for a Key Account Manager to strategically manage and develop key customer accounts within our Flooring business. You'll be responsible for driving commercial growth, strengthening customer partnerships, and ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies that deliver both customer satisfaction and business profitability.

What You’ll be Doing at Kerakoll
· Managing and developing strategic customer relationships within national designated key accounts to maximise sales growth and customer retention.
· Executing commercial sales strategies and account plans aligned with business objectives and sales targets.
· Identifying opportunities to increase product penetration, revenue, and profitability across key accounts.
· Coordinating operational activities between customers and internal departments to ensure exceptional service levels and customer satisfaction.
· Supporting forecasting, budgeting, resource planning, and sales quota activities to drive effective business performance.
· Negotiating commercial agreements and economic conditions within agreed profitability parameters and company policies.
· Monitoring account performance, analysing sales data, and identifying trends to inform strategic decision-making.
· Overseeing order management processes to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and in accordance with agreed terms.
· Ensuring all customer documentation and communications are accurate, timely, and compliant with company requirements.
· Working collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Operations, and Finance teams to achieve shared business goals.
· Acting as a trusted advisor to customers, providing insight and support to strengthen long-term partnerships.
· Maintaining accurate customer records, account plans, and sales activity through CRM systems and reporting tools.
What you’ll Bring to Kerakoll
· Proven experience in a Key Account Management, Account Management, or Sales role within the building products industry, ideally within flooring products or related sectors.
· Three to five years of flooring experience
· Experience with house building
· Strong technical and commercial understanding of flooring products, materials, applications, and market trends.
· Experience dealing with contractors preferrable
· Demonstrable experience developing and executing strategic account plans that deliver sustainable sales growth.
· Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
· Strong negotiation and commercial acumen with experience managing pricing discussions and commercial agreements.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, identify opportunities, and drive performance improvements.
· Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and customer accounts.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
· Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple business functions to achieve common objectives.
· Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to meet customers and support business requirements.
