Duties
- Assist the Bar Manager in overseeing daily bar operations, including staff scheduling and inventory management
- Supervise bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery and teamwork
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic options, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and food production standards across all bar activities
- Support food preparation tasks such as garnishing drinks, light cooking, or snack assembly to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to health and safety protocols
- Train new team members on bartending techniques, customer service, and safety procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending with strong knowledge of drink recipes and bar equipment
- Supervising or team management experience within restaurant or hospitality settings
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Solid understanding of food safety standards and food production processes
- Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking, or culinary tasks preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach
- Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations is a plus; barista experience is advantageous for beverage expertise
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
