EYFS Teacher needed for a short term placement in September:
- September start
- Miserden, GL6
- QTS essential
- Minimum of 2 weeks, likely to continue for the full term
- EYFS class
- No planning or marking
- No out-of-hours responsibilities
- Small, welcoming primary school
- Supportive, close-knit team
We are working with a lovely small primary school seeking an EYFS Teacher from the beginning of September. The position is initially confirmed for a minimum of two weeks but is likely to continue for the full term while covering long-term sickness.
This is a brilliant opportunity for an ECT wanting to experience a new school on a shorter-term basis, an experienced teacher looking to step away from the additional responsibilities of a permanent role, or someone returning to teaching who would like to ease themselves back into the classroom.
The work will already be planned, with no marking or additional out-of-hours responsibilities required. Your focus will simply be on delivering engaging lessons, creating a nurturing classroom environment and providing consistency for the children.
The school is small, friendly and has a genuine family feel. You will be joining a warm and supportive team who work closely together and will ensure you feel welcomed from the outset.
The ideal teacher will:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience within EYFS or a strong understanding of the Early Years curriculum
- Create a positive, nurturing and engaging learning environment
- Build warm relationships with children, colleagues and families
- Be reliable, adaptable and confident taking responsibility for the class
- Be available from the beginning of September
If you are looking for a rewarding teaching role without the planning, marking or wider pressures of a permanent position, we would love to hear from you.
