Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components to create high-quality products that meet precise specifications. Your expertise in various welding techniques, especially MIG welding, combined with mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools, will drive the success of our fabrication projects. Duties
- Perform MIG welding and welding on a variety of metals, including sheet metal and structural components, ensuring strong, clean welds that meet quality standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts accurately
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide fabrication and assembly processes
- Measure materials precisely using basic math skills to ensure proper fit and alignment during fabrication
- Conduct quality inspections of welds and fabricated components to maintain high standards of craftsmanship
- Assist in the assembly of finished products, ensuring all parts are correctly fitted and secured
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in MIG welding and welding techniques with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment used in metalworking
- Mechanical knowledge of metal properties, welding processes, and fabrication methods
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks
- Familiarity with working with sheet metal and assembling fabricated parts
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills
