Job Overview
We are an established contemporary independent womenswear label with over 15 years of history creating premium fashion (average items range from £120 to £200).
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging TikTok Shop Assistant and Live Presenter to join our team in Huddersfield. This role involves showcasing our premium products through live streaming, engaging directly with viewers, and promoting our brand across social media platforms. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a flair for public relations, and be comfortable being on camera. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about fashion, digital marketing, and live content creation to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Live Presenting: Conduct live streaming sessions on TikTok to showcase and promote clothing products effectively, typically broadcasting from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM UK time to engage both our domestic UK audience and our active Middle Eastern shoppers.
- Audience Interaction: Interact with viewers in real time, answering questions, providing accurate product, fabric, and sizing information, and fostering a positive community atmosphere.
- Organic Content Creation: Develop creative content ideas and collaborate with our team to shoot high-quality, regular video content (such as Instagram Reels, TikTok transitions, and behind-the-scenes teasers) to attract new followers and drive traffic to upcoming streams.
- TikTok Shop Management: Manage the TikTok Shop platform interface, ensuring products are accurately listed during the live, and track performance alongside our team using basic analytics.
- Studio & Stock Care: Handle preparation and tasks before and after live stream. This includes reviewing the sales dashboard, ensuring premium garments are neatly hung, steamed, and checked for quality/marks to leave the studio tidy. Also support stock control and inventory management to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements & The Ideal Candidate
- On-Camera Confidence and Modelling: A naturally energetic, articulate presenter who is comfortable holding an audience's attention on live video. You will be bringing our collections to life on camera! You will be presenting our core womenswear range, which is tailored to our standard sample stock (sizes 8-14, proportioned for a 5' 3" - 5' 7" frame)
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with an engaging, personable presentation style suitable for live audiences and online community building.
- Relevant Background or Interest: A strong interest or prior experience in retail sales, customer service, public relations, or managing content (particularly on TikTok or similar video platforms).
- Organisation & Adaptability: Strong organisation skills and proactive, to handle multiple tasks smoothly (such as engaging with live stream comments while managing outfit changes) during live sessions and content planning.
- Trend & Platform Knowledge: Familiar with current TikTok audio, trends, and platform features, alongside a basic understanding of tracking video performance metrics.
- Availability & Commute: Available for flexible afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts. Able to reliably commute to our HD1 studio.
- Guaranteed Base Rate: £15 per hour
- Uncapped Bonus: 5% commission on all sales generated during your live streams. Given our premium price points, successful presenters can significantly boost their overall earnings per shift.
