We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible Ride Operators to join our dynamic team at our funfair. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our guests while operating rides and attractions. Responsibilities
- Operate amusement rides and attractions safely and efficiently, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Assist guests with boarding and disembarking rides, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout
- Monitor ride operation to identify any potential issues or hazards, taking immediate corrective action when necessary
- Provide friendly and professional guest services, answering questions and offering assistance as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of ride areas to ensure a welcoming environment
- Follow operational procedures accurately, including safety checks before each ride cycle
- Manage guest flow to minimise wait times and optimise the overall visitor experience
- Report any technical malfunctions or safety concerns to the maintenance team promptly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in management, hospitality, or guest services is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks as required
- A proactive attitude towards safety and guest satisfaction
- Flexibility to work during peak times, including weekends and school holidays

Location is the funfair on Northampton racecourse
Work available for 14th - 16th August then possible following 2 weekends
Hours are 12pm - 9pm
Applicants must be able to get to site them selfs they is bus routes available
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: £8.00-£10.00 per hour
