Horizon House is looking to recruit an Administrator to join the team. This is a Part Time role (18.75 hours per week). This role requires consistent cover between Mon-Fri, but we are happy to discuss your availability to work across 3-5 days. This post is an essential support to our new service location, part of Flourish, a Therapy-Led addictions treatment environment, offering a different option to traditional hospital-based treatment.
You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
- Provides efficient and effective administrative and/or secretarial support to an individual or a department, including document and report production, telephone enquiries, diary management, meeting and greeting visitors and other administrative tasks as appropriate. Handles external and internal enquiries, recognising the level of importance of particular enquiries or issues and applying the appropriate prioritisation. Passes issues and enquiries on for appropriate action to ensure the highest level of service.
- Ensures that all information and documentation is correctly processed in line with policies and procedures in order that regulatory, statutory, compliance and financial requirements are met. Maintains the audit trail ensuring up to date and accurate information can be provided or accessed as required.
- Updates central and local database systems, ensuring accuracy of all data input.
- Ensures the effective operation of delegated administrative processes and procedures.

The role holder should be educated to GCSE (Grades A-C) or equivalent standard, and should possess excellent keyboard skills and an intermediate level of proficiency for the standard range of office applications. Experience One year’s work experience within an administrative, customer service, clinical, educational or other appropriate background.
