Responsibilities
- Preparing files to be assessed for costs which involves going through the files meticulously to ensure that there is evidence of all work carried out
- Creating an electronic bundle of the file to be submitted
- Tracking the progress of matters through the costing process and pro-actively ensure that the files are moved through the process accurately and quickly
- Maintaining spreadsheets to track progress
- Transferring and writing off time on matters
- Submitting bills for approval
- Ad-hoc administrative duties
This is an office based role in central Salisbury.
The team you'll be joining
Reporting to the Private Client Team Leader, the main purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to our Court of Protection team.
Among other work the team acts for deputies who manage the financial affairs of people who lack mental capacity. The team's costs for carrying out that work has to be approved by the Court of Protection. The main priority is to prepare our electronic files for our costs to be assessed and pro-actively manage the files through that process.
