The predicted salary is between 15000 - 20000 £ per year.
Duties
- Assist with routine landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming using hand tools and power tools
- Support the installation and upkeep of irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution
- Operate machinery such as excavators and other construction equipment under supervision
- Maintain the health and appearance of turf, plants, trees, and shrubs through appropriate horticultural practices
- Help with the repair and servicing of equipment including mechanical maintenance of tools and machinery
- Contribute to the overall presentation of the site by ensuring cleanliness and organisation of work areas
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently during all activities to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Genuine interest in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Some experience or familiarity with irrigation systems or construction work is desirable
- Ability to undertake physical tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods
- Strong willingness to learn new skills within the greenkeeping industry
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Reliable attitude with a proactive approach towards teamwork and safety standards
