About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Aircraft Painter to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality aircraft component paint repairs, coatings, ensuring all components meet strict safety and aesthetic standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform interior component paint repairs, including corrosion treatment, paint blending, and surface preparation
- Follow detailed technical drawings, maintenance manuals, and work instructions
- Maintain and operate painting tools, spray guns, PPE, and equipment properly
- Ensure all work complies with aviation safety regulations and internal quality standards
- Work with MRO teams to coordinate schedules and minimize aircraft downtime
- Document work performed accurately in maintenance records
Requirements:
- Proven experience in aircraft component painting, refinishing, or similar role
- Knowledge of paint types, application techniques, and surface preparation
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in aerospace environments
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance documentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and overtime when required
- [Optional] Certification in aircraft painting or aviation maintenance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with both commercial and private aircraft
- Knowledge of corrosion control and composite surface preparation
