LEVEL 3 MOTOR VEHICLE TECHNICIAN REQUIRED
SPECIALIST ENGINE & DRIVETRAIN TECHNICIAN
We are looking for an experienced Level 3 Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team.
This is not just a routine servicing role. The primary focus of the position will be specialist mechanical work, including:
YOUR MAIN ROLE
- Timing Belt Replacement
- Timing Chain Replacement
- Clutch & Flywheel Replacement
- Engine Removal & Replacement
- Engine repairs and component replacement
- Fault finding and mechanical diagnostics
- General servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Diagnosing faults using technical information, schematics and diagnostic equipment
You will work on a variety of makes and models, carrying out repairs to a high standard and ensuring vehicles are returned to customers safe, reliable and performing as they should.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
- Level 3 Motor Vehicle Technician qualification or equivalent
- Proven experience working in a professional workshop
- Strong mechanical knowledge and practical ability
- Good experience with timing belts and timing chains
- Confident carrying out clutch replacements
- Experience with engine removal and installation
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work accurately and independently
- Good understanding of manufacturer repair procedures
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence essential
