Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Ensure all food safety standards are followed to maintain a clean and safe environment for staff and customers
- Assist customers by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing friendly, efficient service
- Handle food preparation tasks when needed
- Manage cash register transactions accurately using basic math skills to process payments
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas to uphold hygiene standards
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to deliver prompt service without compromising quality
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in serving roles with strong customer interaction skills
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and best practices in food handling
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks with attention to detail
- Strong basic math skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Friendly demeanor with excellent communication skills to engage customers positively
