Job Details
We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to support our production team across a variety of essential duties. This is a varied, hands-on role that plays a vital part in maintaining our high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and preparing high-value precision components to the highest standards.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the production floor
- Cleaning machinery and work areas
- Monitoring and replenishing machine oils and coolants
- Disposing of machine swarf and waste materials in accordance with company procedures
- Booking in incoming materials and subcontract components using our Quality Management System (QMS).
- Carrying out deburring and Helicoil installation activities.
- Delivering components and materials to our cleanroom facility, customers, and subcontract partners as required.
- Supporting the wider production team with day-to-day operational requirements.
Training & Development
Full training will be provided for all aspects of the role, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within the precision engineering sector.
Requirements
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Minimum age of 25 years due to company vehicle insurance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, organised, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
