Responsibilities
- Conduct repairs and maintenance across various areas including carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, roofing, masonry, and painting projects.
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete tasks with precision and safety.
- Perform fabrication work as needed to create or modify structures or fixtures.
- Inspect properties regularly to identify issues early and address them proactively.
- Assist with construction painting projects to enhance aesthetic appeal and protect surfaces.
- Repair or replace roofing components to ensure durability and weather resistance.
- Handle plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, or installing fixtures while adhering to safety standards.
- Carry out masonry tasks including brickwork, concrete repairs, or other structural enhancements.
- Perform welding tasks for structural repairs or custom fabrications when required.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, or electrical work is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with construction painting techniques and surface finishing is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools is essential for effective task completion.
- Ability to fabricate custom parts or structures using various materials demonstrates versatility in skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Prior experience working independently or as part of a maintenance team in residential or commercial settings is advantageous.
