Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Trampoline & Gymnastics Holiday Camp Coaches / Activity Staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people during holiday periods, delivering engaging and safe gymnastics and trampoline activities. The position is suitable for those passionate about sports coaching and teaching, eager to inspire confidence and develop skills in a fun, supportive environment.
Duties
- Lead and supervise children’s trampoline and gymnastics activities in a safe and professional manner.
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate coaching sessions that promote skill development, confidence, and enjoyment.
- Ensure all equipment is used safely, maintained properly, and inspected regularly.
- Organise group activities, games, and challenges to encourage participation and teamwork.
- Monitor participants’ progress, providing positive feedback and encouragement throughout sessions.
- Maintain a clean and organised activity area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Support the overall organisation of the camp, including setting up equipment and assisting with registration or other administrative tasks as required.
Skills
- Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably within gymnastics or trampoline disciplines.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct children of various ages and abilities.
- Ability to motivate and inspire young participants while maintaining a fun, inclusive environment.
- Organised with strong attention to safety procedures related to gymnastics equipment and activities.
- Enthusiastic team player with a proactive attitude towards activity planning and delivery.
- Flexibility to adapt sessions based on group needs and individual skill levels. This role provides an excellent platform for individuals passionate about sports coaching or teaching to gain valuable experience working with children in a dynamic holiday camp setting.

Dates Required:
Hours: 9:30am – 2:00pm (plus short set-up/pack-down time)
Essential Requirements
- Enhanced DBS check (must be on the update service or willing to obtain)
- Safeguarding & Child Protection certification
- First Aid qualification
- Ability to work all required dates:
- Experience working with children (schools, clubs, camps, or similar)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Trampoline coaching qualification (British Gymnastics or equivalent)
- Gymnastics coaching qualification
- Experience delivering holiday camps or HAF programmes
- Sports coaching background (multi-sport, dance, cheer, etc.)
