About the role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Inbound Advisor to join our Smart Compliance team in Wokingham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with customer service, office, retail, hospitality or call‑handling experience who is keen to build a long‑term career in a professional and growing business.
In this role, you’ll support estate agents and their clients by handling inbound calls and emails relating to Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) and identity verification checks. You’ll provide clear updates, request documents when needed, and help ensure checks are completed accurately and efficiently.
No prior compliance experience is required — full training will be provided.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will:
- Handling inbound calls and emails from estate agents and clients
- Providing clear updates on AML and identity verification checks
- Reviewing active cases and confirming outstanding requirements
- Accurately updating internal systems and leaving clear case notes
- Responding to queries using multiple communication platforms
- Resolving emails within agreed timeframes
- Working towards daily productivity and quality targets
- Supporting the team by passing straightforward EDD cases
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Previous Customer Service or Phone Based Experience (Essential)
- Confident and professional on the phone
- Clear and accurate in written communication
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using systems to access customer information
- Target‑driven and able to work in a busy environment
- A proactive team player with a positive attitude
- Willing to learn and develop new skills
