We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Paul Rigby Beaconside, Stafford. This role is vital in maintaining the high standards of our vehicles and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and diagnostics using advanced tools and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake checks, and tyre replacements.
- Identify and repair mechanical and electrical faults on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including parts used and labour time.
- Work closely with the service team to provide timely updates and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist in training junior technicians and apprentices as required.
- Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Qualifications & Skills
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as an automotive technician within the Automotive.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills with a friendly and professional manner.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
- Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies and systems.
