Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial vehicle to complete multiple stops throughout designated routes, ensuring punctual deliveries.
- Load and unload cargo, often requiring heavy lifting and careful handling to prevent damage.
- Communicate clearly with clients and dispatch teams to confirm delivery details and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection records.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Manage your schedule efficiently to maximize productivity while adhering to legal driving hours.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics role, demonstrating reliability and efficiency.
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong commercial driving skills with knowledge of traffic laws and safety procedures.
- Warehouse experience helpful for understanding cargo handling and storage protocols.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively during loading and unloading processes.
