Summary
Your role as a Breakfast Assistant at Ash Hall Nursing Home is vital in ensuring our residents start their day with nutritious and enjoyable meals. Located in Staffordshire Moorlands, this position offers an opportunity to contribute to a caring community that values teamwork and personalised service.
Brief over view of the role.
Start time will be 8am (occassionally 7am when other staff on holiday) finish time 12md.
Assisting in allocated areas of the home to provide the personal preferences of diet and fluids to all residents.
Assisting and supporting residents to consume their diet, where required. Ensuring each resident is being supported with the correct diet, and consistency.
Complete all mandatory training as required.
You will be part of a team of 3 staff whom are specifically deployed to provide breakfast and drink services to all residents. Documentation is a key element to evidence what diet and fluids have been given and accepted, as we closely monitor intake to maximise residents wellbeing.
You will be a good communicator and report any changes in residents presentation or refusal of their breakfast or fluids. This enables the nurse to take relevant action.
