NO VISA OPPORTUNITIES - Night and Day Shifts - We are seeking committed and enthusiastic people to join our team working in Torbay. We are offering Full time employment for day shifts within a relaxed and fun environment allowing staff to develop themselves as well as the people we support in an entirely person centred way. We fully recognise that a care provider can only work effectively if their staff team are happy and content in their work, and for us to be successful in what we do, we need to ensure our staff are valued and rewarded well for their efforts whilst also feeling they are contributing to something worthwhile. We operate a two week rolling rota working three long days (12 hour shifts) a week and being off for 4 days. This allows for the team to plan their lives accordingly, knowing well in advance their shift pattern.
We offer £13.00 p/h for day shifts and £14.00 for night shifts, on a 40 hours contract on a set two week rolling rota. Annual leave accrual at 12.07% of hours worked which equates to 226 per year, running from January to December.
Experience is not necessary as good support workers can come from a variety of backgrounds, and we strongly believe that all life experiences are beneficial and bring something to the team. Possessing the right caring attitude is the most important quality. Everything else can be taught. Bespoke training packages conducted with a mixture of on-line learning and face to face for certain training requirements to continue your professional development and increase your knowledge and confidence. Advancement onto NVQ’s within Social care are available should people wish to pursue a career within the industry.
We provide a wrap around service with senior managers on-call at all times to offer advice and support should it be required.
The primary role is to support people to achieve their own personal goals and ambitions, and to support people to access their own community in a positive way which broadens the scope of activities available to them.
