Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Property Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will conduct thorough inspections of rental managed properties, ensuring they meet quality standards, safety regulations, and contractual obligations. Your keen analysis skills will help identify issues early, support property maintenance, and enhance client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive inspections of properties before move-in, during tenancy, and upon move-out to assess condition and compliance with safety standards.
- Document property conditions accurately through detailed reports, including photographs and written observations.
- Identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, or damages and communicate findings effectively to property managers or clients.
- Verify that properties adhere to legal regulations, health standards, and company policies.
- Follow up on repair requests or maintenance issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain organized records of all inspections, reports, and correspondence for future reference.
- Assist in developing inspection schedules to ensure consistent property evaluations.
Requirements
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to assess property conditions critically and accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Good communication skills for reporting findings clearly and professionally.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections efficiently.
- Previous experience in property management, real estate, or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
- Valid driver’s license for travel between properties and use of your own vehicle.
