Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Support the development and implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences
- Maintain clear communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Use IT systems to record care activities accurately, update client records, and monitor progress
- Drive company vehicles safely to provide home care services or transport clients as needed
- Monitor health conditions, report any concerns promptly, and assist with basic health checks under supervision
- Foster a positive environment by engaging clients in social activities and encouraging their participation in community events
Requirements
- Valid driving license with reliable access to a vehicle for home visits or transportation duties
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care services is highly desirable
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English to ensure clear understanding of care instructions and documentation
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and updating electronic care plans
- Strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients and team members
- Knowledge of care plans, health & safety procedures, and safeguarding policies
