Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Waitress or Waiter to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Handle payments accurately using the POS system and provide correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, cutlery, and service areas
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Assist with basic food preparation when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns promptly and courteously
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not mandatory; full training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques is desirable
- Familiarity with basic maths for handling transactions accurately
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations can be beneficial
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue
