Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic Experienced Housekeeper to join our warm and friendly home. In this role you will be a vital member of our small team, helping to keep the house clean and well organised. You will be working alongside, and taking direction from our house manager, who will also give you ongoing training and support where you will feel like a valued member of the team. Responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness within our home, your attention to detail, proactive approach, and passion for the job is essential, as we are looking to build a long term, happy working relationship with the right candidate.
The hours are 10-2 Monday and 10-2 Thursday.
We have 6 rescue dogs, so someone who loves dogs is a must. This position is also only open to ladies due to one of the dogs being afraid of men.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by performing regular housekeeping tasks.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for swift resolution.
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to uphold health standards and prevent accidents.
- Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels, along with ironing.
- Weekly bed changes.
Experience
- Proven experience as a housekeeper is essential.
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work efficiently independently to a high standard
- Reliable and trustworthy
This position will start mid August.
We are really looking for someone who has a genuine passion for professional housekeeping, with a positive attitude and the ability to manage their time effectively.
Pay: £18.00 per hour
