Salary: £26,000–£31,000 per annum, depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Experience: Minimum 3 years' relevant professional experience
Hospitality experience: Essential and must be verifiable

Create content people can almost taste.
We are looking for an exceptional Videographer & Content Producer to create visually striking, social-first content across a growing portfolio of premium hospitality brands:
Haute Dolci Leicester
Haute Dolci Bristol
Haute Dolci Watford
Haute Privé Leicester
Naan Staap Leicester
This is not a traditional corporate videography role.
You'll be shooting desserts, food, drinks, brunch, restaurant experiences, events, celebrations, behind-the-scenes moments, launches and people — creating content designed to make someone stop scrolling, watch, engage and ultimately visit our venues.
Your primary specialism will be professional content shooting and production, supported by strong video-editing capabilities.
You will work alongside another specialist whose primary focus is post-production and editing, creating an internal creative team capable of producing agency-quality content quickly and consistently.
YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY — SHOOTING & PRODUCTION
You will take ownership of the quality of our visual capture.
You will:
- Plan and execute professional food, beverage, lifestyle and venue shoots.
- Produce premium short-form video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, paid social and digital campaigns.
- Capture food in a way that makes it look genuinely irresistible.
- Film restaurant atmosphere, customer experiences, events and key trading occasions.
- Direct staff, models, influencers and talent confidently during shoots.
- Understand composition, camera movement, lighting, exposure, lenses, frame rates and audio.
- Create cinematic hero shots alongside fast-moving organic social content.
- Capture both planned campaign material and spontaneous/real-time content.
- Photograph products, venues and events where required.
- Build an organised, high-quality library of reusable footage for each brand.
- Work from creative briefs but also identify content opportunities independently.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITY — EDITING
You will also be capable of taking footage through post-production when required, including:
- Short-form social editing
- Colour correction and grading
- Sound design and audio clean-up
- Captions and subtitles
- Transitions and motion
- Music selection
- Platform-specific formatting
- Basic motion graphics
- Rapid turnaround edits for trending content
Experience with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or equivalent professional software is expected.
HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL
This is one of the most important requirements of the role.
We are specifically looking for someone who has previously created professional content for:
restaurants, cafés, dessert brands, food & beverage businesses, hotels, events venues or closely related hospitality businesses.
You must be able to demonstrate this through a verifiable commercial portfolio, previous employer/client work or live social media accounts.
A strong general videography portfolio without meaningful hospitality/food experience will not by itself meet the requirement.
YOU'LL UNDERSTAND SOCIAL CONTENT — NOT JUST CAMERAS
Technical camera ability alone is not enough.
You should understand:
- Why the first 1–2 seconds of a Reel matter
- Hooks and visual hooks
- Watch-time and retention
- Food-content trends
- TikTok and Instagram-native filming styles
- How organic content differs from polished advertising
- When imperfect/fast content will perform better than overly produced content
- How to shoot enough variations during one session to create weeks of usable content
You should naturally think:
“How can I make this dish, venue or experience impossible to scroll past?”
TRAVEL & WORKING STYLE
The role is based in Leicester, with regular on-location shooting across our portfolio.
You should expect to visit each location typically once or twice each month depending on the content calendar, with more frequent work across the Leicester venues.
Travel will include Watford and Bristol, and reasonable authorised business travel expenses will be covered.
Because hospitality does not operate only between 9am and 5pm, occasional evening or weekend shoots will be necessary for launches, events and peak trading periods. These will normally be planned in advance.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You will ideally have:
- Minimum 3 years' professional videography/content-production experience
- Verifiable hospitality/food & beverage content experience — essential
- An outstanding video portfolio/showreel
- Strong professional camera skills
- Excellent understanding of lighting
- Strong food and product composition
- Good post-production/editing ability
- Experience creating content specifically for TikTok and Instagram
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality
- Strong creative instincts
- Confidence directing people on camera
- Ability to work independently without needing constant instruction
- Excellent organisation and footage-management discipline
- Full UK driving licence preferred
Experience working across multiple brands or multiple restaurant locations would be a significant advantage.
WHY JOIN US?
You won't be producing the same content behind a desk every day.
One week could involve shooting a luxury afternoon tea at Haute Privé; another could involve creating a cinematic dessert launch, filming a packed restaurant atmosphere, capturing a new Naan Staap product, working with influencers or producing content around a major event.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Shape the visual identity of several growing hospitality brands
- Experiment with new content formats
- See your work published to large audiences
- Produce content with genuine commercial impact
- Work across food, desserts, drinks, events and lifestyle
- Develop a substantial hospitality portfolio
- Work alongside another dedicated content specialist rather than doing everything alone
HOW TO APPLY
Please submit:
1. Your CV
2. Your showreel/portfolio
3. Links to hospitality brands or accounts you have created content for
4. At least three examples of hospitality/food video content you personally shot
5. A brief explanation of your role in creating those examples
Applications without verifiable hospitality content experience and a portfolio will not be progressed.
