Duties
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs and kitchen staff
- Ensure all kitchen utensils, equipment, and work surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
- Support the storage and organization of ingredients and supplies in accordance with health regulations
- Help with dishwashing duties, including loading/unloading dishwashers and hand-washing items as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and storage areas to promote a safe working environment
- Support the team during busy service periods by providing additional assistance where needed
- Follow all health and safety procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent accidents
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
