Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer specialising in milling preferably Hurco but not essential to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, primarily focusing on precision machining of various materials. Duties
- Set up, Program, operate, and monitor CNC milling machines with precision to produce components according to specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings .
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC equipment to minimise downtime.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and tooling equipment for assembly, fitting, and finishing operations.
- Apply basic maths skills for measurement, calibration, and quality control purposes.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area adhering to safety standards at all times.
- Assist in the development of tooling and fixtures for production runs.
Experience
- Proven experience Programming CNC milling machines.
- Mechanical knowledge related to machining
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and tooling setup is essential.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to machining tolerances and measurements.
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail and quality assurance.
