Nursery School Runner
Willow Daycare Ltd is seeking a reliable, caring and safety‑focused individual to join our team as a School Transport Assistant, term time. This role involves transporting children to and from local schools in the Carmarthen area using the nursery vehicle. We are looking for someone who can provide a calm, friendly and professional presence while ensuring that every journey is safe, comfortable and well‑managed.
You will be responsible for the wellbeing and safety of the children throughout each journey. This includes maintaining high standards of care, following all safeguarding and road‑safety procedures, and communicating effectively with nursery staff, children and families. A strong knowledge of the Carmarthen area and its schools is essential, as is confidence in driving and navigating local routes.
Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and be 25 years old or over due to insurance requirements. We are looking for someone who is punctual, dependable and able to build positive relationships with children. A warm, patient and child‑centred approach is important, along with the ability to remain calm and professional at all times.
Welsh language skills are desirable and would be an advantage in this role, although they are not essential. Above all, we are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is committed to supporting children’s safety and wellbeing during their daily school transport.
