Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking CCDO Labourer to join our team for a temporary contract. As a Labourer, you will be responsible for performing physical labour tasks under the guidance of the supervisor. Your primary duties will include ripping out furniture, loading and unloading materials and equipment, operating hand and power tools, and maintaining a clean work area.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical labour tasks as assigned by the supervisor
- Assist in ripping up carpet, underlay, and grip strips
- Operate hand and power tools effectively
- Follow health and safety guidelines and protocols at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the work area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of tasks
Requirements
- Must hold a valid CCDO card
- Previous experience in a similar labour-intensive role is preferred; however, full training will be provided
- Ability to lift heavy objects and engage in physical tasks for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and adapt
- Excellent teamwork skills and effective communication abilities
- Must possess Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety shoes or boots and Hi-Vis gear
Payment
This position operates on a self-employed basis where you will invoice the company weekly. A UTR number is required before commencing work on-site.
