A fantastic opportunity to join a busy and successful mortgage and protection brokers, based in Derby.
Initially the role will be office based as a Mortgage Administrator with a view to train and become a successful Mortgage and Protection Adviser.
We are a well-established firm providing impartial advice to a high quality client base.
We’re looking for someone with a financial services background, with mortgage and/or protection experience who has the enthusiasm and commitment to become a qualified adviser to advise a stream of high-quality warm leads.
Whilst some experience in a similar role would be a distinct advantage full training and support would be provided to progress towards a whole of market mortgage and protection adviser.

· A negotiable generous basic salary of £24,000 depending on experience.
· Once qualified the basic salary would be market competitive, with excellent uncapped bonus scheme and OTE potential of around £50,000 p.a. with significant opportunities to increase.

The role
During the initial training period you will:
· Provide crucial support to proactively progress mortgage and protection applications through to completion.
· Liaising with the brokers, lenders, solicitors and estate agents to obtain updates on application progress.
· Understand how we comply with all relevant FCA and Regulatory requirements
· Data entry of mortgage applications and client data whilst ensure the CRM system is up to date at all times
· Answer clients' queries on behalf of the mortgage advisers and keep advisers up to date with pipeline applications.
· Dealing with incoming calls, personal email inbox and post.
The initial training will form the foundation to progress into the advisory role where you will be responsible for reviewing the mortgage and protection requirements across a wide range of clients, providing research of the market and identifying suitable products.
